Is the role change instantaneous?

Yes. The role change takes effect immediately once it is saved.

Tip: If the user does not see the update, they just need to refresh the page or, if necessary, log in again.

 

Can I schedule a role change for a later date?

No. Scheduling a role change is not possible.
Changes must be made manually, at the time you want them to take effect.

 

Does this change modify the user’s data?

No. Neither personal nor operational data is affected.
The change only impacts:

  • Permissions (access rights, editing capabilities, etc.)

  • Display and navigation in Beeye

 

Who can change a user’s role?

Only administrators or users with administrative rights in Beeye can assign, remove, or modify a role.

 

How can I verify that a role change has been applied?

  1. Go to Users.

  2. Select the relevant user.

  3. The role will appear immediately in the Role column or in the Role section of the right-hand panel.
