When you create a project in Beeye, you must link it to one or more categories. The primary project category is mandatory while the secondary project category remains optional.
Please make sure you carefully choose them initially, as they affect how your projects will be displayed within the application. These categories are incredibly useful to filter and group your projects later on and they also serve as a main analysis guideline in your reports and dashboards.
To set up project categories, click on the link in the Configuration menu.
Categories : Operational activities, Administration, External Projects and Internal Projects are all available by default, but you may customize them at any point.
Add a new category
To add a new category, click on the Create category button located at the top left of your screen.
You can directly enter the name of this new category. Once you’re done, save your changes by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard.
Edit a category
To begin, click on the category name you wish to edit to make it appear in blue.
Then, rename the category to your linking and press the Enter key on your keyboard to save changes.
Delete a category
First, click on the category name you wish to delete to make it appear in blue.
A Bin icon should then appear at the right of the category name. Simply click on it to delete the category.
Bear in mind : you cannot delete a category that is assigned to one or more projects.
