The reports are useful for obtaining an assessment of your previous operations and activities. For example, you can use them to follow-up on the progress of your activities, to summarize/ make an assessment on your client’s projects or for you to ensure that your employees have a load of suitable work.
The following guide presents the information that you can consult and the actions you can carry out.
Understand the different types of reports
Beeye’s new interface presents two types of reports: by projects or resources. Both of these reports are slightly different. For more information, please consult the guides Understand the report columns and Configure the reports columns.
The reports by project displays general data regarding each of your initiatives. They are very useful to identify the state of the projects or to determine which projects require additional resources.
Reports by resources
Reports by resources are particularly useful to monitor your resources planned efforts as well as the planned work for each of your employees. You can use them to conduct your accounting by monitoring the work your employees have done during the last two weeks or to ensure that the capacity of each of your employees was adapted to their availability.
Reports by task
Reports by task allow you to accurately track the status of each task of your projects by gaining visibility on the planned and accomplished efforts for each of these tasks. You can also use this report to manage your tasks, such as replacing the Manager, status, end date...
Use the filters to reports
Beeye’s reports present different filters that allow you to choose the projects or employees you want to display in the list.
Beeye’s reports allow you to choose different views that change the values of the data shown in the tables of your reports. Access to these views is configured in the human resources page.
There are 3 different views:
- My view: this option allows you to see only the data that concern you.
E.g: With this view, the planned (total) column shows you the total number of hours that were planned for you for the duration of a project.
- My team: this option allows you to see only the data that concerns all members of your team on projects on which they are working.
E.g: With this view, the planned (total) column shows you the total number of hours, which was planned for the members of your team, for the duration of a project.
- My company: this option allows you to see all the data regarding your company.
E.g: With this view, the planned (total) column shows you the total number of hours planned for all employees working on the project in question.
On project report, this filter allows you to group the projects presented in your reports based on their main or secondary categories. If necessary, you can also choose not group your projects.
On resources report, you can group your employees by team or by position.
