You might have to change some information about a project while it is underway.

The following sections explain what information you can modify, and how to do it.

Modifying a project

To begin, click on the title of the project you want to modify. The easiest way to do that is to display your planning page by project. If you prefer displaying the page by resource, you will have to open an employee’s project list to access his projects.

You can now click on a project, and the right panel will open up with all the information about your project.

The right panel contains two tabs:

  • Information: information about your project and custom fields
  • Resources: the list of employees assigned to the project, along with the time they spent on the project and the time they planned to work on the project


Modifying information about the project

In the Information tab, click on the Edit project info button to start editing information about your project.

You will be able to change the name of your project, the start and end dates, the main and secondary categories, and the state.

Once you’re done editing your project, click on the Save button at the top of the section to save your modifications. You can also cancel by clicking Cancel edit.

Modifying custom fields

In the same panel, you can change the values of custom fields for your project.

You just need to click on the custom field you want to modify to change its value. When you’re done, click on the save icon on the right or press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Bulk editing projects

From the project management page, you can edit the start and end dates as well as the main categories, responsibles and status of multiple projects at the same time. Similarly, you can decide to open or close the selected project(s) in a few clicks, or edit the value of custom custom fields for these projects.

To do that, tick the boxes for the projects you want to modify. Click on the pen icon in the top right corner of the table to begin editing the projects.

Enter the information you want to update, and click the Save button.
