Project templates allow you to create new projects quicker by reusing the settings of existing projects (for example, employees assigned to the project, project category, deliverables, etc.). They are particularly useful for recurring projects.
The following guide will show you how to create a project using a template. You will need to have created a template from the project page of the project you want to use as a template. To learn how to do that, you can read our guide Create or delete a project template.
Creating your project from a template
Once your template has been created, you must go through the standard project creation flow to use your template.
To do that, click on the Create button and select A project.
In the top right corner of the project creation page, click on Pick a template to display the list of available templates. Click on the template you want to use to create your new project.
You will see that the project information has been updated. You will then be able to go through the usual steps to adapt the information to fit your new project, and finally create your project.
