States project allow you to indicate for each initiative their current state of health so that you can quickly identify your projects requiring special attention.

With Beeye, you can specify three different types of states:

  • Green state: your project is doing well and your teams are able to achieve their goals.
  • Yellow condition: your project is in danger, but the situation remains under the control of your teams. This state may indicate that your teams have identified a solution to put in place or that the situation is temporary.
  • Red Status: Your project is in critical condition and needs immediate action or it will fail.

By default, your newly created projects do not include a current state. The following steps will explain how to add and edit your project reports from the project sheet.

The actions described in this guide require access to the project worksheet, as well as the display of the Project Status section. To find out how to go to a project's form, please refer to the guide Access to project sheet. Add a status to your project

To get started, find the Project Status section and click the Edit button at the top right. This action will open a panel on the right side of your screen where you can choose the new state of your project and, if necessary, add a comment to explain the reason.

To do this, check the box that corresponds to the new state of your deliverable, and then add your comment in the field provided for this purpose. You can finally click on the Modify button to validate your changes. This new state and the comment added will then appear directly on your project sheet.

Warning: You will have to wait at least 5 minutes before you can enter a new project status. Otherwise, the values you enter will replace those in the state you previously specified instead of adding a brand new state to your project.

 
 
 

View the change history of the reports

Once you have completed at least one report for your project, you will be able to view the change of status history to track the progress of your project as it keep going.

To do this, click the Edit button at the top right of the Project Status section to open the panel on the right side of your screen. At the bottom of this panel, you will see the Project Status Change History section, which shows you the different states of your project, the name of the person who added it and the date, and the comments that were added.
